Youth in Ohariu 2010 Launch
Onslow College student Andrew Coutts was announced as Charles Chauvel’s nominee for Youth Parliament 2010, at the first meeting of Youth in Ohariu for 2010.
Coutts, seen pictured with Labour List MP based in the Ohariu electorate Charles Chauvel, was selected from a shortlist of candidates and announced at the special meeting, held at the Johnsonville Burgerfuel restaurant.
Andrew is currently studying English, History, Classics, Biology, Media Studies and Drama, and is looking to study politics and law at University.
As part of his Youth MP duties, Andrew hopes to visit and talk with other high school students from across the Ohariu electorate, and members of Youth in Ohariu, a youth engagement group for year 11, 12 and 13 students in the Ohariu electorate started by Charles Chauvel in 2009.
