Labour List MP based in the Ohariu electorate, Charles Chauvel addressed members of the Wellington North Rotary today in relation to environmental policy.

Chauvel, Labour’s Environment spokesperson spoke on possible directions for the party’s environmental policy, including reversals on parts of the Government’s changes to the Resource Management Act, Emissions Trading Scheme and Enviroschools.

Charles also outlined a commitment to look at providing environmental protection for currently unregulated activities in our Exclusive Economic Zone.
