Early Childhood Awareness Week
The theme of Early Childhood Awareness Week is "Qualified Teachers Make A Difference to Children's Learning". Charles commented that the week presented an opportunity "...to celebrate policies like 20 hours’ free ECE. This has been described as the greatest expansion of publicly funded education in decades. In the years and decades to come, I think that we’ll look back at 2007 as one of the years in our history when our education system really changed, and changed for the better."
Charles is pictured with Maureen Jehly and Sam Jackson at the beginning of the speeches to mark the beginning of Early Childhood Education Awareness Week. Nancy Bell, Chief Executive of the Association, looks on.
