Wellington Pride - A Gay and Lesbian Lions Group

Charles and his partner David were Charter (ie Foundation) members of a new Lions Group that has been started in Wellington - the Wellington Pride Lions Club. Labour Cabinet Minister Chris Carter also participated. The Club is intended primarily for members of the GLBT communities in Wellington and their friends.

The launch of the Club was held at the Overseas Passenger Terminal on 15 November, and was attended by Lions International Vice-President Al Brandel.
