Charles continued his strong relationship with 350 Aotearoa, attending their rally outside Parliament buildings. Participants included high school students from around Wellington, who signed a banner to encourage MPs across parties to work together on climate change.

In addition, MPs were encouraged to take the following pledge:

“Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing humanity. As Members of Parliament, we will work together, inspiring innovative solutions to address climate change now and for our children's children.”
