Kaukau Challenge 2009

Charles Chauvel, Labour List MP based in the Ohariu electorate, joined others from across Wellington in the 2009 Kaukau challenge, held yesterday as part of the Khandallah School fair to raise funds for the school.
The event is the fourth year the Challenge has been run and includes an ascent of the nearby Mount Kaukau, site of the main TV transmission tower in Wellington, a height of 445 metres.
Charles was accompanied by supporters from the Ohariu electorate over the 5km walk/run.
