For the Paleontology enthusiast! A bold combination of vintage scientific illustrations combined with the unusual shapes, textures and patterns found in repurposed computer parts. 2D imagery and text interacts with 3D parts that resemble bones and fossils in a natural color pallet limited to black, ivory & brown with a touch of green and yellow. There are so many details to discover in this piece including, a row of black plastic tabs resembling vertebra of a dinosaur framing a Mastodon, small black parts with tiny silver wheels (that turn) strangely reminiscent of trilobites. If you know what those are this piece is for you! There is a unifying theme of rectangular shapes seen in the strip of silver metal running diagonally and the black plastic pattern that is raised over green circuit board at the base.- My work is hand made of recycled materials. Wear, tear, dents and scratches are inherent in the process.- Pictures just do not convey the reat presence of this piece. - one of a kind- signed and dated- FREE SHIPPING in continental US Please convo for shipping outside continental USIf you like it, let me know! She is inspired by the variety of shapes, colors, materials, textures and patterns of the components in outdated technology and combines them with appropriated imagery in three dimensional collage she calls Hacker Creations.
